Open source — an AI video skill for every agent

Drop your event.Your agent builds the video.

VanillaSky is an open-source video skill for Claude Code and 75+ AI agents. Describe the moment and your agent composes a finished social video from curated scene templates — rendered on your machine, MIT-licensed, no account.

    Open Source

    Free, open source, MIT-licensed.

Your agent composes and renders finished videos on your machine — no account, no upload, works offline. Every video is a plain JSON config over open scene templates, so the whole pipeline is inspectable and yours.

    Built with the community

The catalog grows by contribution. Three things we'd love your help with:

    Scene templates

The building blocks of every video — hooks, stats, reviews, mockups. Ship one template to the registry and every agent everywhere can use it.

    Motion components

Primitives and blocks that templates compose: counters, device frames, text reveals, scene transitions. Small pieces, big leverage.

    Audio tracks

The bundled track library ships with the CLI. Contribute properly licensed music and it becomes part of every offline render.

    The shadcn model, for video

shadcn/ui changed how developers think about UI components: instead of installing a black-box library, you get the source and own it. VanillaSky applies that idea to video. Every scene template lives in a shadcn-spec registry — agents read the catalog at llms-components.txt to compose videos, and humans can pull any template's full source, schema, and defaults into their own project:

Eject it, restyle it, or contribute it back. Templates are deterministic React components — same config, same frames — so a contributed template is testable, reviewable, and instantly usable by every agent that speaks the registry.
